UNLV dropped their third straight conference game in Logan, Utah on Wednesday night. The 76-71 loss to the Utah State Aggies dropped the Rebels to 5-5 in conference and 11-10 overall the Aggies, who lost to the Rebels two weeks earlier, improved to 19-2 overall and 9-1 in conference.

Stymied by Utah State’s zone, UNLV fell behind 23-7 in the first half before chipping away at the lead and closing the gap to 9 at the half. The only Rebel lead of the game came on the first score of the game.

UNLV did manage to knot the game at 56 with 5:50 remaining in the game, but costly turnovers and poor outside shooting allowed the Aggies to pull away late.

Dedan Thomas led the Rebels with 22 points while Jaden Henley and Jalen Hill each dropped in 16 points.

Deyton Albury led five Aggies in double digit scoring with 16 points.

UNLV travels to Reno on Saturday to take on the 11-10/3-7 UNR Wolfpack.
