On Sunday, the USA Today coaches poll placed the Rebels squarely at #25 for the first time in program history. UNLV didn't crack the top 25 of the AP poll as they sit in the #28 spot in the also receiving votes portion behind Memphis, Boise State and Syracuse. The Rebels take on Syracuse and Boise State at Allegiant Stadium on October 4 and October 25, respectively.

The Rebels have a bye week before opening Mountain West play against Fresno State at Allegiant Stadium.
