The Rebels played in their first true road game of the season on Saturday in a listless 83-65 loss at Creighton.

The Rebels, who are now 4-4 on the season, have now dropped three straight games.

The Rebel defense was slow in allowing Creighton to shoot over 63% from the floor including a 73% in the second half.

Even without registering a single assist for the first half, the Rebels managed to lead Creighton 22-21 with under eight minutes to go in the first half. However, the Blue Jays responded with an 18-5 run to close out the half with a commanding 39-27 lead at the break.

Regrouping at the half just didn't happen for the Rebels as Creighton burned the nets for the first 10 points of the second half to lead 49-27.

The Rebels could manage very little the rest of the half, closing the gap to 16 points on two occasions.

UNLV's next game will be against Pacific on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jack Jones Classic at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson.
