Getting off to a quick start has been an issue in a few games this year for the Rebels, but Friday night in Logan, that wasn't the case. UNLV scored on seven of their eight first half drives to jump to an insurmountable 41-7 lead.

A combination of Aggie focus and desperation coupled with UNLV going all out conservative on both sides of the ball in the second half allowed the gap to close, but the game was never in doubt.

The Aggies did manage to outscore the Rebels 27-9 in the second half, but the Rebels won the contest with ease at 50-34.

The Rebel offensive line bullied the Aggies all game long. The Rebels, aided by 100-yard games from Jai'Den Thomas and Kylin James, ran for over 300 yards on the ground.

Ricky White was spectacular again, hauling in seven passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns.

As ineffective and uninspired as the Rebel defense was in the second half, linebacker Jackson Woodard added another MVP performance to his resume. The senior had two interceptions, a fumble recovery, 12 tackles and three pass break ups.
