The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels remained tied for first in the MWC in gliding to an easy 79-73 victory over the visiting SJSU Spartans Saturday afternoon at the Mack.
The Spartans launched a late 14-0 run to make the final score appear close than the game actually was.
Dedan Thomas, Jr. led the Rebels with 17 points and 6 assists.
UNLV next travels to Boise State (3-1 MWC) on Tuesday night. Boise was easily handled by SDSU on Saturday.
