Lawrence set to visit UNLV

UNLV missed out on five-star recruit Isaac Hamilton earlier this week, but

that hasn't stopped the Rebels from moving forward.
Rivals.com five-star prospect Jermaine
Lawrence will visit UNLV November 23-25.
The lanky 6-10 senior is rated as 21st best player in the class of 2013 by
Rivals.com. UNLV will be his first official visit. He currently
holds offers from a slew of schools but has recently trimmed his list down to
UNLV, Cincinnati, St. John's and Syracuse. Kentucky, UCLA and Kansas were
cut from his list earlier this month.
Lawrence, who thrives in the open court, may be a perfect fit in Dave Rice's
up-tempo system. Being the only school west of the Mississippi, it may be
tough for the Rebels to pull Lawrence from the east. One advantage UNLV
may have in their corner is his close relationship with freshman Savon
Goodman.
Lawrence will be able to attend a couple of games on his visit. While
he is in town, the Runnin' Rebels will host Oregon and Iowa State/Cincinnati in
the Global Sports Classic.
Lawrence can be followed on twitter @mainestory.
